channeled leaves recurve in a graceful rosette to almost 12 inches across

Aechmea nudicaulis EAB108 PERU (Encholirium horridum x Hechtia roseaA form of the species from the San Lorenzo to Lita road in northwestern Ecuador, collected by Wally Berg and John Anderson (EAB108). The plants are tightly tubular and very stiff. Green with wide silver bands that fuse to make the plant nearly silver with greenish bands. A handsome plant that makes a decorative clump.
