An open rosette of tapering, recurving leaves to about 18 inches across, green and dusted with a light coating of silver trichomes. The inflorescence in a cluster of glossy green to red, upright branches on a scape about eight inches tall. The scape and upper leaves of the rosette blush reddish at anthesis. A showy plant, long lasting in
