I wanted to show how much I loved that lemur, so I used watercolours for a messy jungle background and fine liner pens for the details. I filled the lemur with Zentangle patterns like swirls and dots to give it texture. A big challenge was when I smudged the ink, but I fixed it by turning the smudge into part of the design.
