Flowering Cherry - Fragrant Cloud Framed The piece was created inThis is an original delicate watercolour painted by hand, from life, of Prunus Fragrant Cloud in full bloom in the cottage garden. The artwork was begun in the garden and finished in the studio. Animals and birds enjoy the slightly unkempt undergrowth. The painting was completed using archival quality watercolour paints on watercolour paper with a rough texture to enhance the broken colour. Wax and liquid resist techniques were also used to break up
