Antique Tibetan Teapot - 19th Century Material - Zinc thick solid plank top withThis beautiful antique Tibetan butter teapot is made from brass & blackened wood. These teapots are most often from North East Tibet. They were traditionally used to serve yak butter tea. Teapots such as this one are now rare to find outside of museums. This teapot dates to the 19th century and uses repousse work motifs and traditional engraved floral designs. The handle is beautifully patinated. See below for similar museums. Similar examples can be
