Lacquered Indian Candlestick Table Lamp Wool These are still made inThis unique lamp has been converted from a lacquered teak candle stick From Rajasthan. Lacquering is done by a skilled craftsman on a hand powered lathe. The wood is spun and a 'lac stick' is pressed against it. As it spins, friction softens the lac which then coats the surface of the wood. Wired and PAT tested in our UK workshops.
