The sharp angle of the late afternoon sunlight created a golden hue on the prairie at the edge of this oak savanna. As light streamed through the forest, I stood for a moment frozen as it appeared two wise old trees were locked in an eternal waltz. The scene reminded me of the following poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson (1809 1897), which
