Proustite on matrix Spodumene making it a "floater"This specimen is from a find from the mid 1990s at the famed Uchucchacua Mine in Peru. The piece hosts a handful of notably sharp, rather lustrous, metallic silvery colored trigonal crystals of Proustite that show an electric blood red color inside when strongly backlit. The largest crystal measures 6 mm, and they look fantastic with a good light behind them. Very beautiful up close! A wonderful miniature sized of this world famous "ruby silver"
