Eva High Back ss25 The Safari footstool and matchingEva High Back by Bruno Mathsson for Bruno Mathsson International. Bruno Mathsson studied the "mechanics of sitting" in the early 1930s by sitting in a snowdrift and observing the imprint his body made in the snow. This work led to Mathsson creating a series of chairs, including the work rest, which he exhibited in 1936 at the Rhsska Arts and Crafts Museum. The exhibition received great reception and recognised Mathsson as a leading designer in Sweden.
