The M64 pendant light is a product from a time when Spanish industrial design was just establishing itself as a professional discipline. In 1964 the M64 pendant light was awarded the Golden Delta award, the highest distinction for a product in Spain. The awards jury included Max Bill, who promoted the M64 lamp to receive the award. As a result, Miguel Mila affectionately called it the Max Bill
