There are two strong closures at the back consisting of four large parrot clasps

with long luxurious fringing either end

The body of the poncho shows a few very minor areas of wear which is quite remarkable for a piece of this age

There is also a small end charm measuring 2cm

AN ITALIAN VINTAGE 60s SILK SCARF Margaret Preston There are two strong closuresThis is a classic 60s silk dress scarf, made in Italy in pure silk and featuring a hand drawn border stripe in sophisticated colours of forest green and watermelon pink. There is a frayed fringed trim at either end of the scarf. Tag is attached and says, MADE IN ITALY, PURE SILK. Condition is good, however there is a small hole the size of a pin head on the green area. Dimensions 195cm x 44cm
