North State Carolina Pottery Blue and White Mug Southern Highlanders Garden uncommon to find one signedA nice hand turned ceramic mug by the North State Pottery of Sanford North Carolina. Double dipped in a white and blue glaze it measures 4 1 2" tall, 6 1 2" wide and 4 1 2" in diameter. It bears an uncommon ink mark "Hand made in America for Southern Highlanders Inc." It seems this mark was used for a retailer during North State's third period mark 1938 1959. It remains in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. This pottery looks great
