These are highly collectable pieces and these cabochons are nicely selected with the thin regular white stripe of the agate around the edge of each. Brooches of this kind were often gold filled, when not solid gold. I actually have not had this tested at all as yet, so don't know if it is gold or not. The brooch is in good vintage condition apart from the minor crazing
