A 1950s SURREALIST UMBRELLA SHAPED BAG malachite None the lessThis is a very unusual surrealist 1950s black suede bag with an umbrella theme. The panelled shape tapers to a gilt brass feature point and the top has a drawstring with tassel end which doubles up as the straps. Inside there is a black satin lining. Condition is very good, with no damage to the suede shell and the strap is strong and intact. Dimensions 25cm high, 45cm circumference.
