The final picture in the listing shows the patent application from designer Alfred Philippe. The necklace is in good vintage condition, quite shiny and bright but with remnants of gilding visible, particularly on the underside. It is signed Trifari 'Pat Pend' (ie patent pending) on the back of the hinged clip clasp. This is a classic piece from a top quality designer and maker
