Reproduction Rosewood Altar Table Material - Glass Seated on a lotus throneThis dramatic Chinese altar table is a convincing late 20th century reproduction of a Ming Dynasty piece. The quality of the carving is excellent and it is made in rosewood in the traditional way. Skillfully carved dragons sit at either end and flow into smaller dragons culminate in the center. The end panels are ornately carved giving this ornamental piece yet more character. Altar tables, also known as 'console tables' would traditionally have an
