The painting on this is incredibly detailed, and features two town scenes with trees as well as a collection of 'wise objects'. This has a clear influence from Mongolia, however, the painting is more indicative of the Chinese style. Mongolian & Qinghai sideboards were usually made from locally sourced wood, normally elm, poplar or pine.
