A Mostar Trench Art Brass Shell Newly Listed the Victoria Rifles participated inA finely detailed trench art brass shell, the exterior bearing a raised depiction of the city of Mostar with the famous Stari Most (Old Bridge) at the centre, the base base calibre marks and Cyrillic inscriptions with a manufacture date of 49, measuring 90 mm (w) x 220 mm (h), with minor oxidation evident where the Mostar centrepiece was affixed to the shell, a superb example of Yugoslav trench art in near extremely fine condition.
