A 1938 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Silver Grade, By Gustav Brehmer consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac with the battle PARIS(Ehrenzeichen Gausieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1938). Constructed of silvered tombak with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled disc set within a circular laurel leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel topped by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of GAUSIEGER 1938, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked G.
