An extremely well preserved Zollgrenschutz (Customs and Border Protection) winter service cap, constructed of a field grey wool base. Fold down flaps surround the exterior, and consist of a dark blue grey cotton blended cloth base topped by a thick layer of rabbit fur, with the extended sides offering optional ear and neck protection to the wearer.
