Randy and Lori Dunn have been making no frills, reference point Cabernet on Howell Mountain since 1978, and this is the more approachable of their two bottlings. In 2022 there's a twist: it's all Howell Mountain estate fruit, no valley floor, yet still bottled under the Napa Valley label. The result is an unusual Dunn, soft and succulent, with the bold, juicy personality to drink well now
