Constructed of gilded tombak, consisting of a Maltese Cross with swords piecing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, bearing a central raised mobile swastika situated within dual circular rings, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a privately
