A rare Battle of Leipzig (Battle of the Nations) Commemorative Cross, constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon topped by a bronze bar bearing an engraved date of OCT: 1813, with attachment pins emanating from the reverse, the decoration consisting of a Cross Patte with black enameled arms, with each arm terminating in a white enameled crescent,
