Each portrait presents a distinctive Rottweiler head against a richly saturated ground cobalt, saffron, blush and deep oxblood allowing the depth of the black and warm tan markings to resonate. Painted in oil on canvas board, their bright, intelligent eyes lend each dog a distinct presence. Repetition creates compositional
